Water Color/Pen and Ink on Paper - 7” x 5”

Line and color artwork using pen and ink with watercolor wash. Often, when I make a non-subjective piece, I begin making lines and try not to interrupt the process with intentions. Eventually, a theme emerges that gives me some ideas of what the piece is about. The dark paths invite the colors trapped within to become the subject of the piece.
