Water Color/Pen and Ink on Paper - 5” x 7”

This small artwork on paper began as a stream-of-consciousness practice, something I often work on in my journal. The ones I become attracted to, I take further by embellishing the spaces with color using watercolor. The process is mostly meditative, and a good practice of letting my unobstructed consciousness go forward without questioning.

The piece features dominant light blue fields that play against dark blue ones, accented with a series of rich mustard yellow spaces. There are several strands of delicate black cords with multicolored spaces that support the collection of color and line.
