How fun to see these beautiful peppers sitting on my counter. I do so adore the natural beauty that comes from our earth. I get to look at how gorgeous they are, and then I get to eat them, just as delightful. I found them so enchanting, I snapped a shot with the intention of painting them.

When I created this small piece, I took the liberty of rendering the vegetables on a blue surface. I find the play of hot colors against cool blue exciting and calming all at the same time.

I adore enjoying a moment of accidental art on the kitchen counter while I’m preparing a meal. I hope everyone else does, too. But if you didn’t notice before, I bet you will now.
