I lay down for yoga one morning while on vacation. I found myself enjoying the vision of bright yellow architecture next to a rich, Jamaican-blue sky. Looking through textured glass, surrounded by a black metal table frame, made the vision all the more interesting. This vibrant tableau left me stunned, and I longed to hold onto the imagery. I snapped several shots, then finished up my practice.

This bold acrylic painting of yellows, blacks, and blues is a study of contrasts and color and a representation of my mat perspective.
