I have always adored the look and feel of eggshells. These chicken eggs are all different colors, each one a soothing hue. When I cracked several and dropped the contents into a bowl, I was stunned by the contrast of the bright yellow yolks against the rich red.

Isn’t it interesting that, regardless of the variety of eggshell colors, all the yolks look very much the same?
