Three Tulips in a Purple Jar
A co-worker set three tulips in a jar at her workstation. They caught my eye as I was fetching coffee from the office kitchen. They were sitting in the sun. The light passing through tinted glass made interesting patterns. The rich pinks of the tulips seemed to boldly claim their space amongst the keyboards and monitors. The vision brought a lift to my morning and provided evidence of the human love and desire for beauty and aliveness.
